My reason.
Friday 15th Aug The reason I am doing this wellness walk is because I lost my best friend to the illness that is diabetes, my mum. My mum was diagnosed with diabetes when she was a child and throughout her adult life she was constantly poorly and fighting different illnesses due to being diabetic, I can hold my hands up and say I never knew the extent of diabetes until I lost my mum, she never went down without a fight and I know that this is my time and my way of showing her how proud she made me and that she is and will always be my biggest inspiration!
