I’m taking on a Wellness Walk for a happier, healthier future for all.

Nicola and I are taking part in this wellness walk on behalf of Diabetes UK in support of 3 very special people in ours lives 💙💙💙

Mark(my husband) who has had type 1 diabetes since the age of 4 and who controls and manages it so well💙💙

My dad, who was diagnosed at the grand age of 61(ish) and has learned how to manage and adapt to it💙💙

Alana, Nicolas beautiful daughter was diagnosed at the age of 11/12 and has adapted amazing well and been such an trooper learning to adjust her life and manage her diabetes at such a pivatle time in her life. 💙💙

We are proud of each of them as its different for each of them💙💙 We want to raise some money so that hopefully in time there will be a cure for Diabetes. Each and every day is different for them but they just handle it with ease and just take it as they come. Also for us living with it supporting them, has it's challenges and raising money will hopefully raise awareness, money and educate those who aren't as aware or understand about Diabetes.

One in 15 of us is now living with diabetes and Diabetes UK is the charity leading the fight against the UK's devastating and fastest-growing health crisis.
