Wellness Walk London Bridges

10 Mile Wellness Walk - London Bridges

Welcome to Grace & Natalie's Diabetes UK Wellness Walk fundraising page!

We're walking for Diabetes UK this September to support the 5.8 million people in the UK who live with diabetes day in, day out, including James, our husband and Dad, who has lived with Type 1 Diabetes for 28 years.

Most people wouldn't notice the impact diabetes has on his everyday life, but as his family, we do. There are the constant blood sugar checks, monitoring what he's eating, multiple daily injections, and managing high and low sugar levels. We see first-hand the significant impact that even one missed injection can have.

Diabetes affects every day of his life, and the introduction of a glucose sensor has made a huge difference in helping him balance and manage his condition more effectively.

We have chosen to take part in this walk to help support funding for vital research into life-changing treatments, as well as providing support for people living with diabetes, helping people like James to live well with the condition.

You can help us by making a donation, no matter how small.

Thank you for your support.

A great cause to sponsor. With more money comes more research. One day, hopefully diabetes will be curable, or even a condition of the past.
