We are walking for our boy, Tommy — our son, brother, nephew and cousin 💙

Tommy was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at just 5 years old. Since then diabetes has become a huge part of his life, something he never gets a day off from. Every day brings injections, finger pricks, CGM changes, carb counting, constant checking and worrying about highs and lows.

We are so proud of how brave Tommy has been through it all. He never lets it stop him from being the happy, football loving little boy we adore. He is so excited to walk through London with his family by his side and to meet other children and families living with Type 1 diabetes. He will get to see others wearing CGMs, checking their blood sugars and realise there are so many others just like him.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, means the world to us. We’re walking for Tommy and everyone living with Type 1 diabetes, in the hope of a future where no one has to live with this disease 💙
