Walking for a Cause: Celebrating 70 Years and Fighting Diabetes Together!

We are taking on the London Bridges Diabetes UK Wellness Walk as a family to celebrate a special milestone and support a cause incredibly close to our hearts.

This year, Varsha is celebrating her 70th birthday. Instead of a traditional gift or party, her special birthday wish was for us to lace up our walking shoes and take on this challenge together.

As a family of keen walkers, we always enjoy exploring on foot. However, this particular walk carries a much deeper meaning for us. With family members affected by diabetes, we understand the struggles, implications and dedication it takes to manage this condition.

By taking part in this wellness walk across London's iconic bridges, we want to turn our family steps into a force for good. We are raising vital funds for Diabetes UK to support life-changing research, raise crucial awareness, and provide help to the millions of people affected by diabetes every single day.

Every donation, big or small, will help us smash our target and give Varsha the ultimate 70th birthday present: a future where diabetes can do no harm.
