Training Update 🏃♂️🏃♀️!!
Another step closer to our Diabetes UK Wellness Walk!
Hannah and I hit the gym again this week and completed another training walk on the treadmill. Every mile helps as we build up our fitness and prepare for the 10-mile London Bridges Walk in September.
It’s great to see our progress and know that each training session is helping us get ready for the challenge ahead. Thank you to everyone supporting us and cheering us on – we’ll keep the updates coming!

Our Story
Team What About Do?
Our Copey team was formed for one simple reason – to support a great cause and have a bit of fun along the way!
The team name, “What About Do?”, comes from a family joke. Paul accidentally used the phrase in a family chat one day, and for reasons nobody can quite explain, it caused great amusement. Hannah and Nathan found it absolutely hilarious and have never let him forget it. The phrase has stuck ever since, making it the perfect name for our team!
Paul, who lives with diabetes, decided to take on the London Bridges Wellness Walk on 27th September, covering 10 miles through the heart of London to raise money for Diabetes UK. Knowing it would be a challenge, Hannah and Nathan immediately agreed to join him, offering encouragement, support, and plenty of laughs along the route.
Their important jobs will include keeping an eye on Paul, helping to manage his insulin, and making sure there’s a steady supply of Jelly Babies on hand when needed! 🤣
Diabetes affects millions of people across the UK every day, and by taking part in this walk we hope to raise awareness and support the vital work that Diabetes UK does for those living with the condition.
