With around six weeks before the London Bridges Wellness Walk my fundraising is going extremely well with over £2000 plus Gift Aid raised to date.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, it is much appreciated.

I'm hoping I can have a final push for donations over the remaining weeks. I have now raised a total of over £7500 for Diabetes UK in 2023, 2024 and 2025 which is brilliant and testament to the wonderful support of family and friends.

I shall enjoy another celebratory glass of something at the end of the walk again this yea!

Saturday 26th Jul

My daughter Carrie (who is undertaking the London Bridge Wellness Walk recently challenged me to "raise my game" when she described me as the "first loser" as I was currently in second place on a league table of fundraisers so far! We're a tough bunch of hard taskmasters in this family!

This was enough for me to "step on the gas a little" and push for some more support.

Boy did my friends rally round and, in less than 24 hours, another £300 has been added to the running total - it now stands in excess of £1500 - brilliant.

Whilst I am not undertaking the one million step challenge that I successfully completed in 2023 and 2024, I am taking on the London Bridges ten mile wellness walk again this year.
