I'm fundraising for Diabetes UK
Dear family and friends,
I'm seeking sponsors to raise money for Diabetes UK by walking 10 miles in London in late September with our friend Sara, who's courageously lived with Type 1 since childhood. That's inspiration enough! But I'd also like to support those who may have developed Type 2 in later life to better cope with. Needless to say anything I raise will contribute to funding vital research and support.
I've set a goal of £250 and I'm walking longer distances in practice for but minus the dogs, as they stop and sniff too much!
I'm not expecting everyone to be able to sponsor me, and that's ok, I know times are tough. But I am trying everyone and anyone I know just in case the old back of the sofa hasn't been checked for a while :)
