My Story

I was diagnosed with type 3c 7 years ago and have struggled er since. On yesterday (1st Sept 2026) I was blue lighted to hospital almost in a diabetic coma from a hypo. I was convulsing and then seizing. I couldn't get any words out but eventually managed to get my son to come to my room. He called 999 and got an ambulance to me. My absolute hero. If my 10 year old hadn't been with me, the story could be a very different one.

Just an update to say that currently all is ok and the horrible and very scary events of last Tuesday have not reared their ugly head again. Just looking forward to meeting my fellow walkers later in the month. Take care everyone, and stay strong.
