Wellness Walk My Way
This September, lace up your boots and take on the Diabetes UK Wellness Walk My Way challenge.
This is a self‑organised virtual challenge. You’ll choose when, where and how you complete your 5 or 10 mile walk. whether that’s a local loop, a countryside trail or your favourite city route. Walk solo or gather friends, family or colleagues to join you. You plan the challenge and we’ll support you every step of the way.

How it works
If you're not able to join us for our in-person event in London, this is your chance to still be a part of the action. After you register you will be sent a digital fundraising pack with everything you need to get started.
Plan your challenge
Plan your own 5 or 10 mile route and choose a date in September that suits you. Don't forget to get friends and family involved.
Fundraise
We recommend aiming for a £150 fundraising target, but you're always able to increase this when you hit your target.

As you raise money for Diabetes UK, you'll get the chance to unlock and claim exclusive incentives. Along the way, you can also claim digital badges for your fundraising page to celebrate your achievements and milestones.

You can do the challenge solo, or with friends and family. Once you're registered, we'll support you every step of the way.

- Raise £25 and you'll get a Wellness Walk t-shirt to wear in your challenge
- Raise £50 and you'll get som exclusive Diabetes UK shoelaces to pop into your walking boots

If you're not able to join us for the Wellness Walk London Bridges event, you can choose to take part virtually by doing your 5 or 10 mile challenge on any other date in September 2026 in the Wellness Walk My Way challenge. Simply let us know in your entry form the date that you plan to do your challenge on.
Please do your whole route in one day.
This virtual event invites you to take on a 5 or 10 mile walk in a location of your choice, from your local park to your favourite countryside trail. Solo or with loved ones, it's completely up to you.
