Bennett Party Walk
Paul has been a type 1 diabetic for over 65 years. During that time, there have been tremendous advances in diabetes control. However, there are over 40 recognised factors that can change and affect that control on an hourly basis. It’s not just about insulin amounts, exercise, and diet — factors such as air temperature, stress, feeling unwell, and more can all play a part. In a non-diabetic body, normally these changes are automatically adjusted for, but for those with type 1 diabetes, they can present a constant challenge. More research and support is needed.
On the 28th September 2025, Paul will be taking on the London Bridge 10-mile walk together with friends and family to help raise awareness and funds. Please help by donating.
