My Story
I am completing this walk with my little sister, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was 6. As a family, we like to raise money for this cause in the hope that there will one day be a cure for this relentless condition. Unless you know someone living with diabetes, it’s hard to understand the constant decision making and the impact it has on their daily life, even when they appear well. It is always with them with no time ‘off’.
