My Story
Earlier this year, our 10-year-old daughter was diagnosed with diabetes. As a family, we are determined that she keeps living life just as before, full of the same energy and joy.
On 27th of September, we're walking for Diabetes UK for the first time as a family, to support her and over 5m people across the UK living with diabetes every day.
Diabetes isn't always visible — there's no outward sign, just a constant effort behind the scenes that never switches off. We're walking to raise awareness of that hidden impact, and to support Diabetes UK's work funding research and helping people live well with the condition.
No matter how much you can give, it makes a difference — for her, and for everyone quietly living with this every day.
