❤️ Grandad & Ava-Rose – Are We There Yet?

At the end of September, my granddaughter Ava-Rose and I will be taking on the 10-mile London Bridges Wellness Walk, raising money for Diabetes UK.

The fundraising is important, but for me there's something even more special about this challenge — 10 miles of precious Grandad and granddaughter time.

Walking together, talking, laughing, probably moaning about our aching feet and making memories along the way. Ava-Rose is growing up far too quickly, and I know these opportunities won't last forever.

I've learned that some of the best things in life aren't about where you're going, but who you're walking alongside. ❤️

So here's to 10 miles, two generations, lots of memories and one inevitable question...
