Every step today for Morton!! We love you buddy so much and are so proud of you, our #t1dwarrior Today we took on the London Bridges Wellness Walk for Diabetes UK—14 miles and 11 bridges to raise money for research and to raise awareness for Type 1 Diabetes. More people really need to understand that Type 1 is an autoimmune disease that can strike anyone at anytime. It’s got nothing to do with what you eat or your lifestyle. It’s stealth…and will change your life forever. You and your closest family members. Every step today was for our type 1 warrior, Morton. Walking it with Kristian by my side. It was a very emotional walk meeting so many people in the same situation…. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us and donated — it means so much and will make a real difference.
