Welcome to my Diabetes UK Wellness Walk fundraising page!

I’m walking for Diabetes UK this September to support the 5.8 million people in the UK who live with Diabetes day in, day out. And you can help too, just by making a donation.

Did you know someone is diagnosed with Diabetes every two minutes?

I was one of those people in 2006, at the age of 8, suffering from symptoms I didn’t understand. Thanks to my mum seeing similar symptoms in my uncle who has Type 1 Diabetes (she will also be joining me on the Wellness Walk) saw those symptoms early on, and got the help I needed.

Every day is a constant challenge to manage the condition, but through Diabetes UK’s mission to create a world where diabetes can do no harm - by funding vital research into life ‑ changing treatments and providing support to help people live well with Diabetes - we’re one step closer.
