My Story

As you all know I have had type 1 diabetes for nearly quarter of a century, but it's only in the last few months that I've been given the most amazing 'artificial pancreas' technology which has taken away some of the 24 hour mental load. It is literally life changing.

I am so lucky and privileged to have access to this technology when so many don't. So I've roped in the whole family to do this 10 mile walk to raise money for diabetes. It will be the furthest James has ever walked, but both boys are up for the challenge.

There are so many amazing causes, and I know I've fundraised for diabetes before. So, thank you for reading this, there is absolutely no pressure at all to donate, but if you can thank you very much, I'm incredibly grateful.
