My Story
Welcome to my Diabetes UK Wellness Walk fundraising page!
I’m walking for Diabetes UK this September to support the 5.8 million people in the UK who live with diabetes, day in day out. And you can too, just by making a donation.
Did you know someone is diagnosed with diabetes every two minutes?
Diabetes UK are on a mission to create a world where diabetes can do no harm by funding vital research into life-changing treatments and providing support to help people to live well with diabetes. But they need our help. No matter how much you can give, it will make a difference.
So please donate today.

London Bridges
Wednesday 12th AugThis September, I’ll be taking on the Diabetes UK London Bridges Walk — 10 miles across some of London’s most iconic landmarks. 💙
I’m doing this walk because diabetes is something I live with every single day, and I want to use this challenge to raise money and awareness for something that has such a huge impact on my life.
Living with diabetes can be challenging in ways that aren’t always visible. The constant checking, counting, calculating, worrying about highs and lows, planning around food and exercise, and never really being able to switch off from it. Some days are easier than others, but diabetes is always there in the background.
Taking on 10 miles is a challenge for me, but it feels incredibly important to do it — to push myself, raise awareness and raise money for Diabetes UK.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support people living with diabetes today, fund vital research and, hopefully one day, help us find a cure so that future generations don’t have to live with the daily challenges that diabetes brings. 💙
That hope is a huge part of why I’m doing this. I’d love to see a future where people don’t have to constantly think about their blood sugars, insulin, food, highs and lows — where diabetes no longer controls so much of everyday life.
If you’re able to donate, I’d be incredibly grateful. ❤️ If you’re not able to donate, simply sharing my post would mean just as much and would help me reach more people.
10 miles for something I live with every single day — and for the hope that one day, there will be a cure. 💙
Thank you so much for your support! 🥰
