Wellness Walk London Bridges

My Story

Welcome to my Diabetes UK Wellness Walk fundraising page!

I’m walking for Diabetes UK this September to support the 5.8 million people in the UK who live with diabetes, day in day out - just like my mate Jess.

She was diagnosed in 2016 having just started sixth form and had been poorly for a couple of weeks. After being sent home for "falling asleep in class", then heading to the doctors whilst being in and out of consciousness, she was diagnosed on the spot. Over the last decade I’ve watched her go through a lot - but she’s managed to do so with a smile on her face (mostly - except when I’m snapping a cheeky hypo selfie) and I’m really proud of her ☺️

Diabetes UK are on a mission to create a world where diabetes can do no harm by funding vital research into life-changing treatments and providing support to help people to live well with diabetes. But they need our help. No matter how much you can give, it will make a difference.

So please donate today.
